dcc 2200 Free Useful Guidepost
This is the third one of these I have had in the 4 months I have had the maker. I think that putting cold water in the pot causes stress due to the metal band at the bottom and makes it more likely to crack so let the pot cool down before putting cold water in it. Otherwise, the pourer is good, and the best part is it holds 14 cups (whatever that means in the coffee maker world). How do they get away with calling 5 or 6 oz a cup?

Can a Bachmann MDT Diesel Switcher Be Upgraded To DCC?
Hi, I bought a Santa Fe HO scale Bachmann MDT Diesel Switcher, and Kit Bashed dcc 2200 it to only find out that it's not the normal engine i'm used to upgrading. There is no wires to follow. I'm trying to put a DCC Decoder with sound traxx in it. Has anybody upgraded one of these to DCC? Please Help if you have installed one before.

It’s a little pricy, but it is the carafe that fits my Cuisinart coffeemaker. I am very pleased with it.
I broke the original carafe and ordered this replacement. It was the exact same one. I’m very happy and I couldn’t find it in the stores but I found it on Amazon.com …. great !!
My kids broke my 14 cup glass coffee pot but I didn’t want to get an entire machine so I went online and found the glass pot there. Great product, delivered on time and I love it.
Needed to replace my broken carafe and couldn’t match my Cuisinart model number to their website. Cuisinart’s Customer Service (1-800-726-0190)confirmed that my ‘club’ version (marked Model CBC4400 on bottom)sold previously at Costco matches with this DCC-2200 carafe. Similar carafe price between Cuisinart and Amazon, but I chose Amazon with Prime shipping. Perfect fit, so my coffee maker is back in service.
