I have been using the Your Coffee Pod brand filters for quite some time now. These filters work great!!! On occasion I would have one that wouldn’t seal well but no different than the Perfect Pod brand. I have saved a ton of money using these filters and will continue using them. It is nothing to forming the pod and the wider lip on top works better for me with my perfect pod holster. Also shipping is cheaper because they are not bulky. I can’t believe what I’m reading from some of the reviews. Don’t be fooled by the charlatan “The Reviewer “Product Performance” as this person is really “AS SEEN ON TV” products. I discovered this when I clicked on “read all my reviews” and noticed his nickname was “GALVANIZE8.” I remembered there was a seller on eBay who sells “AS SEEN ON TV” products and their username is “GALVANIZE.” Coincidence??? Not hardly, after more investigating I found out the seller on Amazon.com and eBay are one in the same. These people are leaving bad reviews on their competitors products and giving their own products 5 stars. This is unethical business practices and changes my opinion on doing business with “AS SEEN ON TV” products in the future. They are trying to deceive people in believing the Your Coffee Pod brand filters do not work as good as their filters but the truth is they do if not even better. I think the “AS SEEN ON TV” people are threatened by this new product as they should be. REMEMBER, DON’T BE FOOLED BY THE CHARLATAN.

I did lots of research on “pod” coffee makers before deciding on this one. The Keurig was obviously a contender — as it’s a top seller — but two major problems forced me to cross it off the list. First, the Keurig strictly makes coffee and tea, and none of the fancier milk-based drinks that the Tassimo does. I don’t drink tea at all, and I am a Starbucks latte addict, so that right there was a dealbreaker with the Keurig. And second, the Keurig has a HORRIBLE reputation for shoddy build quality. I read SO many reviews of frustrated Keurig owners that it made my head spin. Literally dozens upon dozens of people — particularly in the last few months — report that their first, second, or even third Keurig had broken (and that the customer service was horrible to boot). Several referred to it as a “disposable” coffee maker that’s great “only when it works,” etc! So, if you’re trying to decide between Tassimo and Keurig, pay close attention to that.
So, after having tested out my new Bosch Tassimo machine, I must say that I am really very impressed. If you are like me and love Starbucks lattes, then you will probably be as thrilled with this machine as I am. So easy, so fast…it’s just wonderful. In less than 2 minutes (!!), it makes a frothy, creamy, delicious latte that, to me, is indistinguishable from its original counterpart. Actually, it’s even better because of the consistency! The folks at my local Starbucks are sometimes hit-and-miss when making my drinks. But the Tassimo makes the same exact drink EVERY time without fail. What a great invention for a lazy coffee addict like myself! I haven’t yet sampled other flavors, but even if I HATE everything else (and I highly doubt I will), the latte alone would make this well worth the price of admission (I paid only $103 after $50 mail-in rebate). It’s a no-brainer. My Cuisinart 12-cup coffee maker (a terrific model) has been put into early retirement overnight.
One complaint, that some might find more serious than others: I wish the end product were a little bit hotter. Another reviewer suggested that 30 seconds in the microwave will quickly fix that, and this seems like a good idea, though I haven’t really felt the need yet. I bought some Anchor Hocking 14oz coffee mugs for use with this, and being made of clear glass, they are well-suited to the microwave, so that’s great. I also wish the discs were cheaper, although I haven’t fully investigated other sources.
Hope this was somewhat helpful. Happy hunting!
This works very well. It allows you to buy the less expensive pods in lieu of the K cup and still get a great cup of coffee.
Very very good product. Tastes great…a real must have in my A.M.
Will buy again and again
I like the senseo cappuccino pods that go with my senseo coffee maker. It is a good way to enjoy a cappuccino without having to go out to purchase a cup. I recommend this coffee if you want a pleasing cup of coffee but it is not strong starbucks type coffee. It is more mild but still very good.
Senseo Cappuchino coffee pods brew up a great cup of coffee. Made for a machine, such as the Senseo, that brews 1 cup at a time. It’s easy, it’s fast and this particular flavor is my favorite. Purchasing this 4 pack which each hold 10 pods is an econominal way to enjoy my morning brew. Absolutely love it.
Cream in pods seem to be too hard. Senseo is not nearly as good and the cappuccino pods Folgers use to have.
This machine was for my daughter. She reviewed and talked with a lot of her friends before getting me to buy this machine for her. The t-discs are available at a lot of stores (not wal-mart) and she says she is extremely happy with it.
Tassimo has the worst ordering system I have ever encountered.
For the last four weeks, we’ve been unable to receive an order. We placed one on-line, nothing came. We called: things were back-ordered, so we changed the order for t-discs that were in stock. That order didn’t come. We next spoke to a supervisor who assured us that the third order would come. Nope, it didn’t. Once again: because discs aren’t available.
How in 2010 can they have a web site that doesn’t truly reflect availability, and how in 2010 can they have staff unable to complete an order? How can they be so unreliable?
This problem has happened more than once. It’s inexcusable. Sadly, amazon does not carry our favorite Tassimo t-discs.
I’m not impressed with this machine, got one a couple weeks ago a Walmart. I have tried several times to obtain a decent froth/foam for both cappuccino or Latte macchiato without results; i can get better foam with a small whey protein mixer. the hot chocolate is not a real one, my daughter still prefers Tim Horton’s hot chocolate. I’ve noticed that this machine produces lots of steam at the end of every cycle, I’m not sure whether this is correct (this is my second machine) but at least in most videos the other machines (the silver ones) doesn’t produce that amount of steam (usually 10 seconds after the cycle is completed). I will get either the Dolce Gusto or the Delonghi.
It’s winter time and where I live, it can get really, really cold. One of my favorite things about the cold weather is sitting down with a hot beverage. When I was told that I had the opportunity to review the Tassimo T45 Hot Beverage Machine, I immediately thought “Merry Christmas to me!” This fancy little machine allows you to make whatever type of hot beverage has your mouth watering. This machine uses Tassimo Discs (or T Discs) so you can make hot chocolate, coffee, cappuccino, latte and more. The T Discs tell the machine how much water is necessary, what temperature to use and how long it takes to make the perfect cup of that particular drink. All you have to do is place the T Disc in it’s proper place and then press a button. And viola! You are ready to drink. Plus, if you like your coffee stronger, you can customize it by taking advantage of the manual function. One of the best things about this machine, besides making yummy drinks, is that most of the movable parts can be washed in the dishwasher.
Overall, this is one of the best machines in my house currently. It’s right up there with the dishwasher, yes, it’s that awesome.
I researched a lot of coffee brewers before I decided on the Bosch Tassimo. The best part about it is there’s no guess work. The bar code tells the brewer what to do, you just put a cup underneath and press the button!
The only complaint I have with this maker is that they don’t have a descent hot chocolate. The hot chocolates they offer are bland and just not chocolatey enough.
As for the coffee’s, haven’t had one I don’t like yet. Best thing is, I’m a huge Starbuck’s fan…. now I can make Starbuck latte at home.. woohoo! And with Torrani syrups, my flavored latte possibilities are endless!
Love this machine!
I have been using these filters from [...] ever since I could not get the pod filters from As-seem-on-TV and with the exception of the variation of my voltage I have found I do not spend any more time making my pods than before. I use a 7 sec count to get a good seal with them and I had to use a longer count with the Perfect Pod Filters as well. These filters are easier to keep as they come flat and do not take up the space that the preformed filters take, which is a problem at my house.
These coffee pods will work in any of the pod machines and I suggest you turn them over to prevent leakage which is recommended by other formed pod makers.
The shipping is lower as the packages are smaller and take less to send.
These are not the same filter papers that come with the Perfect Pod machine. They are not even by the same company. The are harder to use and do not always seal good so that you wind up with grinds in your coffee.
I have been using the Pod Holster in my Keurig B60 for over 2 years, and it does work as advertised. I think that the problem the other reviewers had is that they did not use decent pods. Senseo pods are too small and contain too little coffee.
If you want good pods they need to be purchased on line. I suggest a brand called Fratello, but there are other excellent brands. Just don’t use pods designed for the Senseo.
[...]
I bought this with high hopes of being able to use a variety of pods with my keurig. However, the coffee is so weak, it’s not worth the money. This was a waste of thirteen dollars!
My first couple of trys I did not like the HOLSTER but I learned how to use it.
The directions are good that come with the HOLSTER but there are 2 ways to use it. The second is not something they tell you about.
1. With the coffee or tea pods. Make sure the pod is in tight and where the needle can penetrate the top.
(This is where most people fail and it will not work well unless the needle can penetrate into the pod).
2. Get the HOLSTER and a product sold by AMAZON called the T-SAC(100ct per box size #2)
a. Fill the T-SAC with 1 1/2 to 2 Tablespoons of regular to fine ground coffee of you liking(DON’T USE EXTRA FINE GRIND!).
b. Fold/roll the top over to seal the T-SAC till coffee is in tight.
c. Squeeze the self-made pod with rolled end to the side of the HOLSTER as the instructions say.
d. Put/Force the pod into the HOLSTER and put the cap on (if you have too much coffee it will not fit-take out some if needed).
e. Make sure there is only a SINGLE SHEET of the filter at the top hole of the HOLSTER and at the bottom.
f. Put the HOLSTER in and brew
(NOTE: I like 16oz-20 oz so I will actually use the same pod twice with no real taste lost).
g. After using pop the top and throw away or compost it.
At 1/2 the cost of a K-Cup and being able to use the flavored coffee I like makes it worth it.
This is the same filter paper as sold by Perfect Pod. One step has been left out and that is to simply press the paper into the Perfect Pod Maker basin. It’s a fast and economical alternative to the brand name filter paper. The only caveat is to be sure and have the “rough” side of the paper facing up. It won’t stick if the shiny side is up. It takes no extra effort to create the pod filter and the savings is worth it. Additionally, the packing is a mere envelope compared to the large box required to ship the bulky, hard plastic clam-shell packaging of the Perfect Pod papers. A greener choice if that is important to you.
I think these are great and will continue to order as a better alternative.
I made the assumption these are “perfect pod coffee filters.” They are not. The box reads “your coffee pod filters”. These must be pressed as they are flat and not preformed. I ordered 2 packs or 320 pods which ment I would have to press every single one. At best it would take at least 1 hour to form them. Is paying a little more worth your time? I made my choice, sending them back for a refund and purchasing the preformed ones.
